We were strolling in the park one day…

17 Sep

This is Poppin, a mouse who just loves to fly a kite.

This is Poppy, a picnic mouse with her basket of goodies.

If my brother Jay and his wife Ellen were mice, I guess this is what they would look like.  Two mice who love picnics, kites, hats, and perfect summer days.

I was given a challenge by my family to create mice and gnomes for them.  I’ve got 4 done… 1 more left…

Patience little sis, your mouse is next.

I rarely comment, but I just have to say how much I love your work… the mice, the scenes, the photography.

Thank you Alyice! I’m really happy you like my work. The mice and gnomes are happy too. By the way, a few friends kept on badgering me if they could own one of the mice so I guess I’ve just started taking on commissions. A bit scary, but I think I can do it. 🙂

What about for your readers? Can I be a gnome, please? Is there such a thing as a woman gnome? Love the mice…waiting to see more, of course.

Yes Joyce there is a woman gnome… Have a look at Olga the gnome in my Gypsy jar post. As I’ve just mentioned to one my my readers, I think I’ve just started commissions. After days of badgering from my friends, I’ve finally accepted their challenge. I really hope I can keep up. So if ever you want to own you very own gnome (hey that rhymes!) let me know. 🙂

Oh that will be nice. Once you get your shop up and running, I’d love to talk to you about a feature over at EmptyEasel.com where I am a columnist.
